LICENSE AGREEMENT

1. You should carefully read the following terms and conditions before using this software. Your use of this software indicates your acceptance of this license agreement and warranty. If you do not agree with the terms of this license you must remove "Bytescout BarCode SDK LITE" files from your storage devices and cease to use the product.

2. You may use "Bytescout BarCode SDK LITE" in your freeware and commercial applications or products without any fee or royalty with the only requirement to place "This application makes use of Bytescout BarCode SDK Lite (c) 2008. Web-site: http://www.bytescout.com" in the documentation or About dialog for your application or product.
You may redistribute DLL files from "Bytescout BarCode SDK LITE" along with your application or product without any fee or royalty. You may not clone, rent, lease, sell, modify, decompile, disassemble, otherwise reverse engineer the licensed program, or any subset of the licensed program, except as provided for in this agreement. Any such unauthorised use shall result in immediate and automatic termination of this license and may result in criminal and/or civil prosecution.

3. All copyrights to "Bytescout BarCode SDK LITE" are exclusively owned by ByteScout. All rights not expressly granted here are reserved by ByteScout Software.

4. The terms of this license, as well as the "Bytescout BarCode SDK LITE" interface and code design are subjects of changes in future versions of "Bytescout BarCode SDK LITE".

5. Installing and using "Bytescout BarCode SDK LITE" signifies acceptance of these terms and conditions of the license.

6. If you do not agree with the terms of this license or if the terms of this license contradict with your local laws, you must remove "Bytescout BarCode SDK LITE" files from your storage devices and cease to use the product.

7. THIS SOFTWARE IS DISTRIBUTED "AS IS". NO WARRANTY OF ANY KIND IS EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. YOU USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK. BYTESCOUT WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR DATA LOSS, DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS OR ANY OTHER KIND OF LOSS WHILE USING OR MISUSING THIS SOFTWARE. IN NO EVENT WILL BYTESCOUT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, WHETHER ARISING FROM TORT OR CONTRACT, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOST PROFITS, COST OF COVER OR OTHER SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INDIRECT DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE SDK OR ACCOMPANYING DOCUMENTATION, HOWEVER CAUSED AND ON ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY. THIS LIMITATION WILL APPLY EVEN IF BYTESCOUT HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE. CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT ACCEPTING THIS LICENSE AGREEMENT THIS ALLOCATION OF RISK.
